"Learning new skills and gaining new knowledge is important for people of all ages. To maintain a sound mind and body it requires that one continue to learn, particularly as one ages. Learning Argentine Tango provides a medium in which both physical and mental growth occur together. And I found it pleasurable and social as well. Leaning Tango is something I began in my 83rd year and much of what I have gained over the last year has been due to the lessons given me by you, Paola. You are knowledgeable and skilled as a dancer, but more importantly for me, you have been patient and kind as you helped me build the foundation I needed to begin mastering the basic tango moves. And we laughed a lot!"

"Paola was an all-out PRO in choreographing a tango dance for a commercial our ad agency shot. She constructed the perfect routine for our short amount of time allowed, conveying emotion and storyline with no words spoken. Not only did she choreograph and rehearse with the actors/dancers, but also came to our commercial shoot to make sure everything went well. Paoloa was fun to be around and I enjoyed getting to know her through the process, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.” - Anastasia G

"Paola is very professional. I started tango with her a few years back. I was always very pleased with her classes. She keeps her students engaged and makes even difficult moves easy to understand. Her attention to details and ability to work with every student in her class made it possible for me to understand tango, start dancing and continue to improve."

"I'm having a lot of fun learning how to dance in your class Paoloa. Coming into this class, I had no experience in dancing and at first was very intimidated to join. Now, I feel more confident on dancing with the beat, making a connection with my partner, and having proper form/technique. Everyone is very helpful and friendly in class too. Thanks for being such a great teacher."

"I had the opportunity to work with Paola for a production I'd been cast in, now I'm athletic and yet id had no previous formal dance training. So needless to say learning the tango was a change for sure and yet Paola, was amazing to work with and a gifted instructor. Very patient, thoughtful and enthusiastic for what she so clearly loves, dance."

"Truly wonderful to work with! I met her working on a film set as she was the choreographer and I was one of the hired dancers. She was able to seamlessly address the needs of the dancers as well as the director while still upholding the integrity of her choreography. I would highly recommend her!"

"I look forward to Paola's weekly milonga class. Each class she gives us a different "simple" drill to practice. These drills help us to better understand and connect with the music. Although these drills are simple and can be completed by beginners and masters alike, they are the building blocks of a rich and varied dance vocabulary. Paola teaches with passion and with a warm open heart. She encourages all of her students young and old. As a woman who likes to lead and follow, I love that she supports me in both roles. If you want to learn to dance authentically from a porteña I recommend you take her class.

" I am very glad to see that this new website is helping to consolidate in a potential far more larger audience the Teaching and Art of Paola Bordon. For many old Tangueros like me who grew up since early childhood with Tango as the Key Cultural Expression of our Argentine identity it is not too common, nowadays, to find out a younger professional, Teacher, Choreographer and Dancer who can do so well , as Paola does; embracing the traditional tango and evolving through the different styles till even some modern expressions with such a degree of fidelity, style, elegance and finesse. Her technique, teaching and dancing are impeccable: She is a pleasure of a Tanguera... A Lady with Capital Letters... ... That Tanguera with whom : .....A Man can feel being a Man and be a Man ..... A Tanguero can fell being a Tanguero and be a Tanguero ..... A Person can feel being a Champion and be a Champion. I am glad that she will ensure the purity of our Tango is being taught and transferred with integrity and fidelity and hope many people will take advantage of her classes and learn from her Art. Paola is one of best tango instructor in Chicagoland. I know some people who started to take her classes with no experience at all and in short period of time they became very good dancers because Paola have a lot of experience as tango instructor and she knows leading and following part of the dances. She is creative and supporting instructor . Also have her as instructor you have choice perform or become good milonguera.

Review: I’ve had several tango instructors and Paola is one of my favorite. Paola is a wonderful instructor who truly cares about her students and makes her class fun and approachable. She teaches her students to dance with authenticity, drawing on her deep knowledge of tango. Technique and musicality are very important in her class and I have seen it improve my dance. She also educates her students about the different orchestras, which is so important for serious tango dancers. I appreciate that she is from Buenos Aires and can provide her students with a deep understanding of the culture and history of tango. She empowers all of her students especially women. And after a very long hiatus from tango, Paola is helping to build me back up as both a follower and a lead. I particularly love her Heels class which teaches women to lead in heels. It’s very challenging but we also laugh a lot and have fun. Finally Paola is an award winning dancer who trained with many masters. It is so important to learn from a great dancer, otherwise you might internalize bad technique and habits that are very hard to unlearn. Finally, she has an incredible heart and I’m happy to call her a friend as well as a teacher.
